My journey into mapping was first charted when I embarked upon a suite of challenging, yet captivating modules in the use of GIS software and applied mapping techniques - all critical components of undergraduate study at Cardiff University. My ability for mapping, both on paper in the field and digitally on the screen, was aptly demonstrated in 2018 when I graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Geology.

In the years since graduation, I have reinforced this solid academic foundation with independent work projects for a range of clients, sourced through freelancer platforms such as Fiverr, as well as through further training in softwares such as QGIS and ArcGIS Pro. In recognizing the value in this, and whilst not feeling fully satisfied with freelancer platforms, in 2026 I decided to launch GSMapping with the purpose of offering personalized and affordable mapping services to all.
